What Rant Zone is

A dedicated space for letting things out in words — short blurts or longer pours — without the map-first framing of YB Zone. The product goal is catharsis and clarity, not performative “content” optimized for strangers’ engagement metrics.

Rant Zone vs YB Zone

• YB Zone — location-first: vibes on a map, discovery by place and hashtag, profiles tied to real-world sharing.
• Rant Zone — emotion-first: venting that is not sold as a geographic tour or map flex.

Both can live in one install; you choose the lane that matches the moment.

What you can express

Frustration, grief, anger, confusion, small wins, big regrets — human-scale emotion. You do not need a “brand” or a growth strategy to post here.

What Rant Zone is not trying to be

• Not a replacement for therapy or crisis services.
• Not an ad-targeting pipeline dressed up as “community.”
• Not a map showcase for every feeling (that’s YB’s job when you want place context).

Privacy stance (plain language)

Rant Zone is described as low-identity by design in this lane and not a marketing analytics product for your emotions. The app still needs normal security and abuse prevention; that is infrastructure, not “feelings for advertisers.” Full legal terms are in Terms & Conditions.

Safety & limits

Harassment, illegal content, and other harmful behavior remain against policy. Moderation and reporting may apply as described in-app and in the Terms.

Using it in the app

Rant Zone is accessed as a mode or lane within the YB Zone client (wording in the app may say “Rant” or similar). Install and account flows are shared with YB Zone; venting-specific behavior follows the Rant experience inside the shell.
